Every year we ask residents for feedback on the services and amenities we provide.

In the past, residents have been randomly selected from the electoral roll to participate in the residents survey. Last year, to give more people the opportunity to have their say, we opened up the survey to every resident in the district, and got over 600 responses.

The feedback we receive from the survey each year informs how we do things in the future. It highlights the areas we can improve on and where we might need to direct more focus.

Your feedback is more important than ever this year, as we continue on our transformation journey, which aims to change the way we work for, and with, Waitaki’s communities. The survey results will be a key part of informing what we can do differently.

With the support of Key Research, who hosts the survey and independently reviews the results, we will also be getting their help to draw a winner of the $500 Prezzy Card!

The results of the survey also form the basis for our performance assessment against the performance measures and targets set in our 2021-31 Long Term Plan, and are reported on in our Annual Report.
